SOME RESULTS

DC cold plasma jet generator operating at atmospheric pressure
The supply electrical circuit consists of two dc sources parallel connected, operating at different voltage range: Ignition voltage switching on/off is performed automatically by an electronic circuit which compares the discharge current with a threshold value. This approach improves the circuit supply reliability, energy efficiency and diminishes electromagnetic perturbations. A single unit contains both dc sources. The whole system can be controlled remotely by means of a PC. Electronic circuits comprise only common components, commercially available, allowing to be implemented as a product by an innovative start-up.
